There are several types of temporary housing in Kyrgyzstan, such as yurts, trailers and sheepfolds. They are scattered throughout the country in mysterious ways: on the side of the road or high in the mountains, where there are no communications or benefits of civilization. If you put these houses on a map of the country and try to connect them together, you will get a broken line — a dash. This is how an invisible line is designated in drawings. In my project, I want to make this line visible, as well as the people who live in incredible beauty, in the open space, and at the same time, isolated from society.

Sometimes, over time, a full-fledged house with a foundation grows on the site of a yurt or trailer, and then the trailer serves as a reliable barn or guest house. These changes occur unnoticed by observers, but are of great importance to the people living in these places.
The project was implemented with the support of the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan.
